Diaper changes, logged in one word
What does a diaper tracker do?
A diaper tracker writes down each change, wet, dirty or both, with the time, so you can tell at a glance how many she has had today and when the last one was.
In Our Little Two you say "Wet diaper" or tap one button. Anyone who changes her can do it, and the count shows up for everyone.
One word per change
The problem
A diaper change takes ten seconds and one hand. Nobody wants to unlock a phone and fill in a form after it, so by evening the count is a guess and the last change is a debate.
How it works
- After a change, say "Wet diaper", "Dirty diaper" or "Wet and dirty". Or tap the Diaper button and pick one.
- The entry is read back in one line with the time it was logged.
- Ask "When was her last diaper?" or "How many diapers today?" and get the answer from the log.
- If you got it wrong, say so. The fix replaces the entry and the old one stays on record.
What changes
The count is already there when you need it, whether it is the nanny asking at noon or the pediatrician asking at the next visit.
Goals only when someone sets them
A diaper Goal is a target her Care Team chooses, a parent or her pediatrician. When one is set, the read-back says how many you have logged and how many are left.
When nobody has set one, there is simply a log and a count.
When to ask a clinician
A log can show you what happened. It cannot tell you what a change in diapers means. If something looks different, or you are unsure, call her pediatrician.
The age pages below link to the pediatric sources, such as HealthyChildren.org from the American Academy of Pediatrics, for what is typical at her age.
- It does not set diaper thresholds of its own or tell you what is normal.
- It does not diagnose or give medical advice from what you log.
Diapers, counted for you
Say it in a sentence
"Wet diaper" is enough. It lands as a diaper entry at the time you said it.
Or tap once
The Diaper button logs the same entry a sentence would, for the moments you would rather not talk.
Today's count
Ask how many diapers she has had today and hear one number, added up from the log.
When was the last one?
The answer is her most recent change, with the time.
A Goal if her Care Team sets one
The target comes from you or her pediatrician. The app counts toward it and says how far there is to go.
Who changed her
Each entry shows the name of the person who logged it, so two people do not both log the same change.
On from the start
Diapers are one of the three Tracks that are switched on when you add her.
Questions parents ask
Can I log a diaper without talking?
Yes. Every Track has a button, and a tap logs the same entry a sentence would.
Does it tell me how many diapers is enough?
No. Any target is a Goal that you or her pediatrician choose. For what is typical, ask your pediatrician or read the sources linked on her age page.
