One baby log for everyone who cares for her
What is a shared baby tracker?
A shared baby tracker is one record of a baby's feeds, sleep and diapers that every caregiver reads and adds to, instead of each person keeping private notes.
In Our Little Two, parents, grandparents, nannies and her pediatrician join her Care Team. They all see the same log, and every entry shows who logged it.
One log instead of a dozen texts
The problem
When care is shared, the story of the day gets split between people. Grandma knows about the last bottle, Dad knows about the nap, and the nanny wrote the diaper count on a sticky note by the changing table.
How it works
- A Parent adds Mila and invites people by email: a partner, a grandparent, a nanny, her pediatrician.
- Each person gets a role that matches what they do for her.
- Whoever is with her logs by voice or by tap, and the entry carries their name.
- Anyone on the Care Team can open the log or ask "When did she last eat?" and get the same answer.
What changes
The whole team works from one account of the day. Nobody has to reconstruct what happened from memory or chase a reply before the next feed.
Who can do what
Everyone on her Care Team can read everything in her log. What each person can change depends on their role.
| Role | Log entries | Set goals | Manage members |
|---|---|---|---|
| Parent | yes | yes | yes |
| Caregiver (grandparent, doula, nanny) | yes | no | no |
| Provider (pediatrician, midwife) | no (grantable by a Parent) | yes | no |
Who logged what
Every entry carries the name of the person who logged it, so "Logged by Grandma" answers the question before anyone has to ask.
If someone fixes a mistake, the first entry is kept as replaced and points at the new one. The record stays honest about what changed.
What sharing looks like in practice
One log per child
Everyone on her Care Team reads the same feeds, sleep and diapers. Nobody keeps a second copy.
Invite by email
A Parent sends the invite and can remove a person later. Entries they already logged stay in her history.
Roles that fit real life
Parents run the team. Caregivers log. Providers set Goals, and can log too if a Parent allows it.
Names on every entry
See at a glance that Dad did the 11:20 nap and Grandma gave the 2:10 bottle.
No iPhone needed
A grandparent on a laptop or a nanny on another phone uses the web version, with voice and buttons, in a browser.
Goals the whole team works toward
When her pediatrician sets a Goal, every caregiver sees the same target and how far there is to go.
Questions parents ask
Does everyone need the app?
They need to be invited, not to own an iPhone. The web version runs in any modern browser on a phone or a computer.
Can our pediatrician change her Goals?
Yes. A Provider can set Goals. A Provider can only add entries if a Parent turns that on.
